The
United States Library of Congress has the jurisdiction
over the copyrights in the United States. It is
a form of protection by law (title 17, U.S. code)
to anyone of original work who perform the writing
including literary works, musical or plays or
any other talent or intellectual work. It immediately
becomes the property of the one who originated
the work and is affective on the day the Copyright
Office receives the work. It ensures the protection
of the work during the lifetime of the individual
plus 70 years. |
